Issues Integrating Clickfunnels with GetResponse? Here is the Solution

Over the weekend I was working on a new project, trying to finalize all of the accounts needed for my new venture. I was running through all of the setups when I realized that I needed an autoresponder to actually follow up with my customers. You know, because that is a part of being a good business.

For those who do not already perform regular follow-ups with your customers or potential clients, cough cough real estate agents, you absolutely should be doing this. Timely follow-ups will let your customers know that you are highly engaged in their interests and want to work for them.

GetReponse API

So I reviewed four to five different autoresponders and found that I liked GetResponse the best. It held all of the features that I needed along with the ability to make automated funnels. I am currently a ClickFunnels client so I use their software but I am always on the lookout for a deal. With GetResponse you have the ability to not only perform follow-ups through email marketing, but there are many other features such as autoresponders, automated funnels, landing pages, forms, Facebook ads, a CRM for customer management, webinars, and many other features. While I was trying to integrate GetResponse to Clickfunnels I ran into a problem with communication. After searching Google for about an hour, I came up with nothing. That is why I decided to write this post. The error message I received was a communication error between Clickfunnels and GetResponse. I finally contacted customer support at GetResponse and I received the following: “ Thank you. This error appears because ClickFunnels uses a different API version than our own. However, I can adjust the API version, which should let you connect with ClickFunnels successfully. One moment, please”

So, long story short, if you are having a problem with the integration after following the instructions on Clickfunnels contact customer support at GetResponse. Within 5 minutes, the connection was working properly.
